11TH CIRCUIT JNC SETS JUDGE CANDIDATE INTERVIEW SCHEDULE
The 11th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission held an organizational meeting on August 26 to consider the applicants for a vacancy on the circuit bench and three vacancies on the Miami-Dade County court created by the elevations of Judges Rebull, Correa, Espinosa Marin, and Perez Santiago.
The commission determined that it will consider all applicants, listed below in the order applications were received:
- Michelle Urbistondo (Circuit)
- Alexander Shear (County & Circuit)
- Kimberly Hillery (County)
- Jennifer Trautman Levin (Circuit)
- Alexander Annunziato (County)
- Christian Dunham (County and Circuit)
- Miesha Darraugh (Circuit)
- Natalia Costea (County & Circuit)
- Luis Perez-Medina (County & Circuit)
- Aaron Feuer (County and Circuit)
- Judge Eleane Sosa-Bruzon (Circuit)
- Stephanie Silver (Circuit)
- Chiaka Ihekwaba (Circuit)
- Malcolm Wiseheart (County)
- Scott Janowitz (County and Circuit)
- Cristobal Padron (County & Circuit)
- Yenly Dominguez (County & Circuit)
The commission will interview the following applicants only on Friday, August 28, at Jones Day, 600 Brickell Avenue in Miami according to the following schedule:
1:00 p.m. – Judge Luis Perez-Medina
1:15 p.m. – Malcolm Wiseheart
1:30 p.m. – Cristobal Padron
1:45 p.m. – Anthony Maneiro
2:00 p.m. – Juan Perez
2:15 p.m. – Eddie Holiday
2:30 p.m. – Yenly Dominguez
2:45 p.m. – Melissa Jordan
No further interviews will be held. Following these interviews, the JNC will hold an executive session to select nominees and elect a new chairperson.
Members of the public are invited to attend the interviews and submit any information they have regarding the candidates to the 11th Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission.
